Guaranteed Accounting Program 4+1 (GAP4+1)

Earning a degree in accounting offers you exciting career possibilities. Not only will you understand the fundamental language of business, but you can elevate your talents into things like:

Forensic accounting – imagine a career with the FBI investigating, tracking and helping solve financial crimes;
Business deals and structures – you can elevate your talents to perform complex business calculations such as deal structuring, evaluating new business opportunities or evaluating risks/rewards of potential new business ideas;
Audit functions – including accurately reporting the results of financial operations to Boards of Directors, shareholders, management and/or government.

If you are really good at what you do, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the median salary for this profession is over $67,000 per year and the highest paid 10% earned more than $118,930 year. Additionally, for those just starting out in accounting, the sector is expected to grow at a pace of 11%

If you qualify (you must assess for math and English) and are admitted into the program, your first two years of classes will be at Irvine Valley College and you second two years will be at CSUF’s Irvine Campus. Classes are GUARANTEED so you don’t have to worry about space in the class. You must keep up a B average (3.2) to stay in the program, but you will have a Bachelor’s degree in 4 years and a Master’s degree in 5.

We are currently accepting applications for California State University Fullerton's Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) beginning Fall 2018. As fellow educators, we know High School Seniors are preparing for life after graduation and college application is a priority.
